DECK RENNOVATION(S) Peppi Beach

The deck on this holiday home was done with tile and building materials that are not suited for the outside space. The deck leaked water into the substructure and made it subject to rot. Once we pulled off the tiles and cement fiber sheets, we replaced the whole substructure with H3 (suitable for semi protected outside areas) beams and joists. We closed off any openings on the subfloor of the house with metal flashing. Once the substructure was in place we installed jarrah decking. The neighbours were so impressed by the result, they hired us to do their home next, which was built in the same manner.
